I rather like the Tamil numerals, and I wish more people at least knew them (many do not). But, unlike the Devanagari or Kannada numerals, they are very rarely used. It seems a bit silly to allot 10 spaces to them when space is at such a premium. If there is space for them, then why not. George Hart
