Satellite Events : Exhibition and Tamil IT Workshop
In addition to the technical sessions ("conference hub"), during Saturday and Sunday, there will be an Exhibition of Tamil Softwares and Tamil IT Workshops In the Exhibition Hub Softwares for Tamil computing, IT developed in different parts of the world will be displayed (along with live "demos") with volunteers to explain the usage and scope of the softwares.

For those who want to learn more about using Tamil on computers, Tamil IT Workshops will be conducted at two levels - one for beginners (on Tamil fonts, browsers, Text Editors and other basic tools) and one at advanced level (covering topics such as Tamil websites and blog sites design and development, computer-aided teaching of Tamil, design and management for databases for Tamil in Unicode for e-commerce, ....). Opportunity to have hands-on testing will be provided using laptop computers.

All those interested to participate in the Tamil IT Workshop need to register in advance. Number of participants for the Workshop is limited.
