will be held during 22nd to 24th August 2003,  in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

Tamil Internet 2003 will be inaugurated by the

Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu "Selvi J Jayalalithaa"

at 12 noon on 22nd August 2003
at the Vivekananda Auditorium, Anna University.

The conference and exhibition will be held
at Hotel Taj Coromandel, Nungambakkam, Chennai, India

during August 22, 23 & 24, 2003.

The series of Tamil Internet Conferences, being conducted in various countries around the world every year, focuses on Tamil computing technology and use of Tamil in Information Technology.

Tamil Computing and enabling the rural masses to derive the benefits of computerisation in their language has been the motif of the Government of Tamil Nadu and it has started vigorously promoting it.

This conference will go a long way in promoting knowledge of Tamil Computing amongst software developers, students and users in general.
